Great for Tourists and Natives

I won this City Pass at my son'e school auction as part of a "Staycation" package. My family resides in Marin County, so it was nice to spend some vacation days touring our own backyard. We visited the Exploratorium, whuch a was simply amazing. A must see for children of all ages. The entire value of the booklet was not used, but each pass was definitely worth using, as the prices for admission are steep for most Bay Area Museums. I would recommend the passes for tourists staying 3-4 days at least. A suggestion would have been some discounted restaurants or cafes included for a quick bite between trips.

Great way to see the museums of SF and ride public transportation, The citizens of SF are awesome about answering questions and helping one negotiate the transit system~loved the City Pass..

The San Francisco CityPass is very convenient. As it turned out I did not get full value because I did not use the transportation as much as I thought I would, but it would have been great to not have to think about how to pay. I had a car, so it was easy to find many places with spectacular views of San Francisco, from Marin County, from the Golden Gate Bridge, from the Berkeley Hills. I didn't find the boat ride in the bay added all that much to the experience. I had planned to go to the Monterrey Aquarium, one of the world's best, but was tight for time so went to the Bay Aquarium - just not as special a place for anyone who has visited both. On this trip I did not use the buses or cable cars, drove around and used parking, so I did not get the full value. I only rated it as a 3 because someone who buys it should think first about how much they will use it, whether they will have a car, whether they will be able to get to Monterrey, how much they like to walk. Uber/Lyft is available on almost a moments notice, so that is a consideration too.

It's best deal to travel around in San Francisco as it's covering MUNI transportation tickets so if you'r staying in San Francisco itself then you can visit all sightseeing places and attractions easily in 9 days. Unfortunately I was able to use it for only 2 days so I missed one attraction from this. So plan well in advance.

Very pleased with Citypass. Will definitely look for it in other cities as the attractions were cool, the savings substantial, and it was easy to use. In SF, the ability to use Citypass on public transport, including the historic cable cars, saved us a ton of money. We were highly impressed by both the Monterey Aquarium and the California Academy of Sciences- wish we had more time at both as we underestimated how many things there were to see!
San Francisco CityPass is just awesome

I used it for 6 days because I left the city on the 7th day morning using a shuttle to the airport. I strongly recommend Citypass because in overall it saved me about 100 USD as I was on a business trip in San Francisco and I had to use Muni transportation for couple of times every day. As a personal review of the attractions, The blue and gold fleet comes first. This is a unique and for me I would say a one of a kind experience because the Golden bridge is truly a legend, that no one could visit SF without seeing it. I also wanted to go to Alcatraz island but didn't have much time prior to my trip to purchase a ticket so it was really nice the fleet came across real close. I say if you are coming to San Francisco, you must get a CityPass
