Tampa CityPASS is a total waste of time and money
We bought CityPASS tickets for our trip in May 2026 and were very disappointed! We have bought these tickets in other cities and had a wonderful experience, so we were excited to take in all of the events, but that did not go as planned. Tampa Bay Busch Gardens is a racket. They just nickel and dime you everywhere you go. Half of the rides were either closed or broke down. There are long walking distances between each ride and we only were able to ride a total of 4 rides after being in the park all day. If you do decide to go there be sure to use bug spray because the insects were terrible! We also tried to go on a dolphin ride. We had it scheduled. The time leading up to it we were busy getting ready. During that time, the dolphin cruise was cancelled. We failed to see the email notification and drove to the destination, only to find out it had been cancelled. The lady working the booth acted aggravated that she had to even speak to me and was very gruff. I got sick, so we weren't even able to take in the Zoo, which we were looking forward to. The Aquarium is really nice and has a great variety of fish, but several exhibits that were listed on their website and in the facility were actually not available. Some of them hadn't even been there for several years, so that was misleading. Tampa CityPASS should consult with other cities and either try to improve their locations and facilities, or totally quit offering this because we feel like we just threw away that money.

During our recent trip to Tampa we purchased CityPASS tickets and were only disappointed to have not discovered this sooner! We are excited to know that other cities use this as well and looking forward to exploring those too!!

Great deal!
This is a great deal. We saved quite a bit of money by selecting this pass and appreciated the various selections. MOSI turned out to be one of my favorite adventures! Will definitely purchase again!

I bought 2 CityPasses for a trip to Tampa in 2026. I had previously purchased CityPasses to Tampa in 2015 for myself and my 4 kids. The kids consider that to be the best vacation ever! We have also purchased them in Chicago and Houston. In all locations it was beyond worth it. You save a ton of money and the attractions are amazing!
